The Times of Tomb Raider and therefore the way of playing this type of game are over. Heavy Metal Fakk 2 offers much more gameplay in various ways. Ok it is a 3D advaneture, a Jump and Run and has a fine heroine. But what it makes much more are for a first thing the superb graphics, no wonder, it uses the Quake II engine. But what makes it much more stylish is the combat system. You are able to equip both of your hands and every time you change this setup, the weapon combos will change depending on it. Much more fun then just firing from a weapon. And finaly the camera works in a beautifully fluid manner, swinging around to dodge obstacles and show you the action when you really need to see it, such as during combat.
