Imagine mountains, rugged ridges, sheer cliffs, primeval forests and steaming jungles, as well as interiors and exteriors of ancient ruins. In some areas movement is contained by the terrain; in others Turok moves freely. Gameplay is spread over eight levels, and certain key combinations open entrances to different lands including treetop villages, catacombs, caves and tribal villages. While levels can be completed in sequence, there are opportunities to move between levels. Gameplay within an individual level is non-linear. |
