Oomans recently fought a war of independence from the Concord that succeeded and failed. They were able to gain full admittance to the Concord as a general member but at the long-term cost of their freedom as a species. If these Oomans gain access to Concord technology and provide leadership, we could have a more difficult time in our planned operation.
